Psychological assessment

A test battery varies depending on the complexity of the questions being asked. Additionally, some reports such as those for accommodations for standardized examinations must contain all of the materials requested by the administrators of the standardized test, and so can sometimes be quite complex and lengthy. Pricing depends on the number of tests administered, complexity of the material and amount of time spent. This will be determined after discussing the assessment questions with you.

I am not on any insurance panels. This means that if you have an HMO, your insurance will not pay for sessions with me. If you have a PPO, your insurance may pay a percentage of the fee for your sessions with me. Whether or not they do or how much they pay varies by insurance company and policy. You should check with your insurance company to see what they would pay for an “out of network provider.”

In any case, I request that you pay me at the time of your session and submit paid invoices (which I will provide) to your insurance company for reimbursement. In the case of psychological assessment, I request half of the agreed upon fee at the beginning of testing and half at the end when I give you your report.

If you have any questions or wish to propose an alternative option, please do not hesitate to speak to me about them/it.
