About

I am trained and licensed as a clinical psychologist, however, my work is informed by my entire background which includes a Bachelors Degree in Art History (Bronze Age and Classical Art and Archaeology) and a Masters degree in Biological Sciences followed by nine years of college-level teaching in Cell Physiology, Microbiology and Human Physiology.

My college and university training was in the standard western approach to clinical psychology and biology. I have continued on my own, with mentors, and with the help of books, conferences and teachers to broaden my knowledge of humanity, human functioning and healing. This broadening includes recent and current studies in healing methods used by other cultures and in other times sometimes spoken of as œancient and alternative ways of healing.  In addition, I embrace the use of imagination and dream in personal growth, self-awareness, creativity, and healing.
